KJE Clay creates beautiful and functional ceramic wares, lovingly handmade in Sydney.
With a focus on handmade and organic form, KJE Clay is dedicated to creating unique designs, with no two pieces being the same, that fit into customers day-to-day lives of grabbing coffee or preparing a family meal.
The process of handmade and creating in an in-home studio nods to the notion of slowing down and the process of creating objects from start to finish. Going hand in hand with this, sustainability and environmentally conscious values were embedded within the brand throughout the entire process.
The creation of the brand indulges a desire for this slowing down and the playful colouring and delightful illustrations pay homage to the handmade nature of the ceramic wares. The play on form and texture of the product is recognised in the simple illustrations. With effortless brand messaging appealing to the relaxed and measured nature of the brand.
